Roads from Tahoe to Fresno, CA

I'm riding my Ninja 600R from Tahoe to Fresno and back. I know there are lots of little roads over the Sierra's - anyone have a recommendation on the best twisties?
Thanks in advance

Ride it, ski it, wakeboard it, snowboard it like ya stole it!

Hmmm never did that ride. Would like to though. Might check out http://terraserver.homeadvisor.msn.com/ though. Awesome images from sattelites of the US, and the Sierra's. Let me know when you are coming down.

Fresno

Hey Jester

I'm in Fresno quite often since my girlfriend lives there, but I usually drive the cage - it's a long trip and I usually have only the weekend to spend down there. This weekend I'm taking the bike - I can leave fri morning and return on monday - and take my time playing on the twisties.

Not sure what the girlfriend has planned for the weekend, but if your interested in sneaking in a ride sat or sun send me an email at: [email protected]

See ya

ebbets pass from calaveras county goes over the sierras, i think it's hwy 4, also back there is monitor pass which connects over to the 395. You can only do those rides in the summer tho, the roads aren't plowed during the winter. We just went back aways over hwy 4 from the Tahoe side on snowmobiles a few weeks ago. Pretty insane how different it is from the winter to the summer.
Just be carefull on hwy 4, some stretchs are 1 lane only, you MUST watch out for cars!

This link should have something for you. I wish I had the time to check them all out. There are some great sounding rides through the Sierras listed along with others.

R6steve, twisty roads lead to twisted minds.

I used Pashnit and planned a trip ripping through the sierra's from So Cal to Tahoe and back. I rode 2000 miles in 4 days on this trip. If you have streets and trips I still have the routes I did. I was on some awsome roads. But if you are in the Fresno area for sure hit up Trimmer springs.

If you want my route that I have planned just shoot a PM with your email.
