anyone up for a quickie

Ride that is! According to the radar the Rain has passed. just a few hour ride then it's off to the dreded picnic time.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in a pretty well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,totally worn out and loudly proclaiming,"WOW What a Ride!" Got it? Get it. Good.

I've been watching the radar and was thinking of heading out after lunch for a few hours (once the roads dry). Might just stay close to home and play in Westmoreland county (286, 217, 981, 819, etc). I'd be especially conservative today given the holiday weekend and increased presence of the The Man (in camo no less).

Talking about the Man. I was coming home from the races in Smithton on Friday night at 100 AM. On route 30 east just before Westmoreland Mall as I rounded the corner I came upon a Sobriety Check Point by the Pa State Po Po's. A bunch of Troopers were making a lot of people do the one legged polka before they blew up the meter in the Pa State Po Po's trailer. Too many Po Po's and flares galore. as of yesterday the remains of the flares were still at roadside. Also there were 2 different speeding traps eastbound. Don't they anything better to do than bust drinkers?

You`d rather be out sharing the road with a bunch of drunks?

Look . . . the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances, we guard you while you sleep. Do not fu|< with us.

I now have a plan. Leaving the Murrysville McDonalds at 1pm. Taking 286 east to 217 south. Then 22 west to 982 south. 982 to 130 west to 981 north. 981 all the way to 819 south down to Greensburg. Then 66, 993, and back roads home to Murrysville. 120 miles or so.
