Question est for bike

Where can you get a free estimate for body damage on a bike?

We went to Bob Tracey's last night but they wanted to charge $68 to give an estimate on cosmetic damage!!

If it's for the insurance company most places will charge you because of the paper work involved. If it's just for yourself call up a shop and ask how much for this stuff for your year R6 and remeber to breath.

Depending on what is wrong with it, you may be better off in the long run, getting your own parts and doing the work on your own....I am sure there are people on here who would lend you there time and help out.

It was parked and my friend backed into it and knocked it over. She hit it on one side and it landed on the other side. It's all cosmetic and you can't even really see the scratches except for the rear fairing and can.

We got a list of prices for the parts that we can see that I need but I would perfer someone to actually look at it incase we didn't notice something. The part list doesn't include labor either.

I could do everything. It's just the fairings. The hardest part would be the crankcase covers. If she is going to turn it into her insurance I want everything fixed with new. If I would buy it on Ebay it might be scratched worse than it is now? You can't even tell it's scratched now.

Considering the stuff was in new condition and it was someone else doing the damage, I would accept nothing less than new fairings and covers. If it was you doing the damage, then that is a different story. Make the bike wrecking hag pay for it to be like it was.....at least you will not be making her pay the labor.......new plastics with all the paint and decal are not cheap and I know case covers are not too cheap either.......go the extra mile and get some aftermarket case covers though...woodcraft are sweet.
