Paiting Windscreen

Just wanted to give a tip for anyone planning to paint there windscreen. DO NOT SAND IT FIRST. I painted mine black this weekend and it turned out really good.

Painted mine about 2 yrs. back and it still looks great. Easiest way to do it is....clean it with rubbing alcohol then paint. 3 coats should get it just fine.....any spray paint will basically do the job...if you want to spend the extra money get the new plastic spray paint.

yeh paint the inside. if you want, you can get some compound(like 2000 grit) and rub it in. it will not only clean it up, but also very very lightly sand/scuff it. i did that with mine and it came out good.

If you painted the outside of your screen, I would clear it, sand it, and clear it again to keep from bugs, road garbage etc... from chipping it.
