Another shot of Jane (the hi-res version is more impressive)

Is it really as Rotten Gratten as they say it is? I had a choice of Gratten or Gingerman this year and I went Gingerman becuase it was sooner.

I'll be there next year if they do a repave like I've heard.

It has it's fawked up bumpy parts but I would choose Grattan over Gingerman any day due to the technicality and elevation changes that Grattan has. I've been to Grattan, Gingerman, and Autobahn and Grattan is my favorite to ride. You just have to ignore the pavement and trust your tires when your out at Grattan. Autobahn is smooth but just doesn't have the fun factor like Grattan. My husband and I are going to try to make it up to Blackhawk for a track day next summer.

Nick can tell you about his highside from the sealerstrips at Gingerman. Not his favorite track.

Are you talking about Autobahn North, South, or Full? I've ridden South a few times and I like it a lot. Actually my avitar is from ABS.

The seams at Gingerman didn't bother me too much, it was the bumps that bothered me the most. There was noticable bumps in 3, 8, 9, and 11 when I was there last. The one in 3 nearly caused me to highside myself into next month.

ill take grattan any day. even tho thats the only track ive been to yet. even Jane told me the others do not compare as far as difficulty. no sense in doing a candy trrack, i can do that in ann arbor. i like technicle and elevation changes.

damn i wanna hit the track again. damn fall/winter crap is almost upon us.

For me if I had to choose between a track I was firmiliar with or a new track I'd take the new track every time. When I rode gingerman I had a choice between that and my "home" track blackhawk farms. I knew gingerman had seems and bumps but I chose it anyway becuase I knew it would force me to work harder on being smooth and finding good reference points.

Next year I want to try Gratten, Putnam Park, and maybe Mid-Ohio if I have enough $$.
