Red face 05 Zx10

hey I'm starting track days and maybe some racing this year. This is about the 14th street bike that i've owned but have never been on a track. Should I even consider doing it on my 05 ZX10 without a steering stabilzer?

Its not too bad. The bike does headshake, but only past the apex of the corner when you are on the gas. The headshake is ussually pretty mild and definetly managable. A damper helps, but its not required...

Ive had a more of a problem with headshakes on backroads than I did on the track. It doesnt seem to like hard leans over bumps for some reason...

Just in case you guys didn't see the other thread thanks for the input and good point about streets being worse than the track.

Depends on the organization but some require a stabilizer.
