track protection

I know the answer to this question is to buy the best equipment that you can afford, but . . .
I'm trying to get a bike and equipment together to do some track days this summer( 3-4 tops). Previous track experience included renting equipment. I don't have endless funds and was wondering what others have used that did the job of protection and has held up. Can you buy an exceptable suit for around $500 - $600? What about gloves and boots?
Thanks

I just got this suit in black, and aside from the cheap armor that can be switched out, its a VERY nice suit. I had never worn, or even tried a 1 piece on before hand, and their measurments were spot on, it fits me like a glove. I can`t wait to try it out, the perforated front is going to be very nice compared to my old textile jacket. Very nice place to do buisness with, and they ship quick.

Look . . . the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances, we guard you while you sleep. Do not fu|< with us.

I got my Alpinestars suit from them. They are great to deal with. See you at Pocono this year?
