Phoenix area tracks?

Anyone from the Phoenix area can you tell me how many tracks there are to do track days and about how far they are. Just found out my wife and I will be moving there, we will be moving to an Air Force base near Phoenix, anyone have a clue where it is or how the area is ?

Luke AFB is in the towns of Litchfield Park and Surprise.
Williams Field (if the AF still has a presence there) is in Mesa/Queen Creek.
The Air NG has a presence (KC-10, KC-141) at Sky Harbor - the big airport in Phoenix.

Very near Luke is Arizona Motorsports Park, a very nice modern track.

Firebird International Raceway has a rougher, flatter track (actually three of them), down I-10 in Chandler (might be within the Phoenix city limits).

The area is nice. Hot in the summer that DRY heat thing), cost of living is low.

Nice riding in the mountains, 1-2 hrs away from the metro area.

Check out for the Firebird trackdays, and TEAM Arizona for the others.
