I raced there last month. Beautiful facility, all things considered probably the best in the US although I have not been to Laguna, Sears Point or Fontana. Have been to all other major tracks(spectating not always riding).

The track is extremely wide and roomy, very technical with over 800 feet of elevation change. It already needs to be repaved though.

Facilities and the people are great and it should be an awesome spectator track. It isn't quite as world class as the hype suggests because it is still very tight and technical but is a great track.

It's 80 feet of elevation, not 800- that would be a bit much...
And yes, Barber is all that! Go if you can.

Suck mean people!

Yeah, 80 feet of change... damn keyboard.

Approximately 8 stories of change... how's that?

I'm going to be there on Sept 22 attending the CLASS school. I'm not sure about CLASS but at least I'll get to try out the new track....and it coincides nicely with the last AMA race so we'll go over a few days early to watch.
