in case anyone heard about water in 17 @ vir (where i finished 3rd), here's some cool footage of it i sourced from the ccs webboard.

this guy is cool as hell and went through a pretty rough weekend (nice save here though). it's onboard on a gsxr750, f40 expert winner.

i would be more stoked if i raced someone at any point.

first start, big ex thunderbike pile up in one.

second start, i had a fight for first into one, then started battling for second into the next lap i rolled off because third had the line and there was a guy crashing, brought out the second red flag.

third start, i got a crap start, went third into one, am thunderbike high side. i rolled off, since we had so many restarts. no red flag.

i don't know that i could have caught 1st and 2nd, but they were out of site before it dawned on me that we weren't red flagged and the first two bikes were list racing. then it took time to get back on pace.

i rode around myself most of the race. i started back off a lot looking for 4th to come back up so could race with someone. i the 5th lap i thought, "go you moron."

I was down there a few weeks ago w/ NESBA after some serious rain. We had that same "strip" of water leaking up through the seam in the middle of 17 and then another "puddle" leaking up just at the end as you come onto the front straight. Both were right on the racing line and sared the HELL out of me going over them.

Don't try to keep up with my life, you'll only get hurt.

Tony, sounds like is was just a matter of surviving the race let alone actually racing. Either way you got some wood and that's a great thing.

Were you racing the GSXR?

The 750 motor is nice but it tears up rear tires, I went through about 7 rear tires last year, 2 new tires and rest were take offs.

The small bikes are fun and easier on your wallet. You should try our GP Moto series, 80cc Reju bikes that are under 200 pounds. Lots of cornerspeed and you learn how to draft.
