rollin', rollin', rollin'

so, anyone have some r1 race bodywork for sale, cheap?

my weekend was very unimpressive.

mwsp--i was having a great battle with the guy pitted next to me, then we caught an aprilia. he may have been on slicks or something (and it was raining). he nearly took me out and there goes ray on the gs500. i was bummed, but he was riding well and deserved the position. 13th

lwss--bike wouldn't run in the rain. dns.

lwsb--raining still, but a drying line. my face shield fogged up at the start and i couldn't see a thing. so at the end of the first lap, i was able to see and was trying to real in the bike in front of me. the guy in front of me was much faster than i am. so i was trying to catch up with him while he was struggling on rains on the drying line. so i went deep into one. the front started moving around. i knew i needed to ease up on the brakes. i'm not sure i even got to the point of releasing the brakes. BAM!!! i'm on my side, sliding at 100+ mph. the only thing i'm thinking about is where are the guys behind? and am i gonna get run over? in a stupid effort to see, trying to turn around. that just me tumble. damage to me--hurt my foot, but not bad. damage to bike (so far), the bolt into the master cylinder broke in two, the controls on the right side, upper is in bad shape, fairing stay, both brake levers and my right side mid. oh, and i'll need more krylon for the tail. and a TON of cleaning (gravel gets EVERYWHERE, carbs and intakes, maybe)

lwgp--dns

Tony, Sorry to hear you went down, glad your ok.

Bike looks like you got some work to do. Give TPM a call, there might be some older FZR bodywork laying around, there even might be some R1 bodies fro the old R1 that Joe P used to race with for TPM. If not you can get a deal on either the Air-Tech or Cheeath bodywork from Glen.
