AZ Track Day Questions

I think I'll be attending the next track day at Firebird April 28 - provided my girlfriend signs the permission slip. Some questions for those who have done the Firebird track days before:

How big a turnout do they usually have? In other words, what's the maximum number of people that I will find laughing/scowling at me at any given time?

I'm pretty sure, based on their website, that I can ride it even if I don't have my race bodywork by then. All I really have to do is tape over/remove mirrors and lights and replace the antifreeze with water wetter. Am I wrong here?

Can you bring food & drink to the pits?
* also, are alcoholic beverages allowed? My "pit crew" consists of my girlfriend, who does not drink beer, and The Guy With the Truck. The Guy With the Truck loves to drink beer. He can think of few better ways to spend a Sunday than having a few cool ones while watching me circulate the track in my Pokemon suit. Obviously, I would prevent any drunken antics on his part, but I'm just wondering if he has this option at all.

Are small children allowed? The Guy With the Truck has a 4 year old daughter. She really loves the Pokemon suit. I shan't keep her from seeing me in it unless I really have to.

I think that's it for now, but I might have more later.

Thanks for any info/advice you can give.

And just to let you (and Jamie) know, as long as I do not get sick again I will make the April 28th date.

No track I've been to will let anyone crack a beer while bikes are running, only afterwards. There's always "Big Gulp" cups for the crafty...

If you get caught, though, it is the entire team along with the RIDER that gets kicked out.

Many thanks for the info.

Looks like it'll be a kid and big pitcher of Kool-Aid in my area.
