You can't go worng with the Autocom equipment. They have 3 levels to choose from and they are all 1/2 price until they are sold out. The new models will be released soon that will be wireless/bluetooth. The quality of the equipment is top notch. If you want bike to bike they prefer the Kenwood radio, but it will work with most any type of FRS/GMRS radios on the market. I personally use the Motorola Talkabout T7400 with weather channels built in. They have an 8 mile range and are 1/3 the price of the Kenwood radios. Very simple to hook up to your bike - just 2 wires. It will take you longer to just install the helmet speakers/mic, than the unit.

I have had the autocom system for 6 m onths now and LOVE IT.
I use it not only for bike-to-bike communication, but have the GPS, satalite radio and cell phone all attached (for those long trips) and it works flawlessly. When talking to someone on the cell, they do not even have a clue your flying down the highway at 80, its that clear!!

Once you have the Autocom it is very addicting to use. I can not ride without the music or phone capabilities. With a sportbike ( smaller windscreen) the wind noise is a little more than a touring style windscreen, but the sound quality is still top notch. I used to use 30 Noise Reduction ear plugs and I have gone down in numbers to the low 20's , as the Arai helmet and Autocom speakers are much better than my old stuff. If I use the 30's now I have to turn the volume all the way up and eventually that will wear out my speakers.
