On my katana I got 7 thousand on the rear and 13 on the front before it was cupped but that is a 600 I went to deals gap on the front with 10k on it and it did good. How do you like the ZX for sport touring? I am 6' 4" and I do like how there is room for me on the bike. I am going to the Dragon again next year so I will ride the ZX the 660 miles one way

I wish I could have kept the ninja but had to trade it, It was great though, but 660 miles ? must be that Marine training to endure that kind of pain. guess I'm gettin old.....

I did it in 10 hours and 15min. I loved doing the dragon. In 5 days I did 1762 miles, that was alot of riding I loved it. I am 35 when I hit 40 I will probably get a FJR or something equal. I just love to ride.

high mileage

If you are curious about someone who put 850,000 miles on a 1990 VFR....440,000 miles on the first engine, and 410,000 miles on the second engine, then read the article in "Bike" magazine from Great Britian. He has put 2 1/2 million miles on his bikes since he started working as a motorcycle dispatcher in 1985. It was a great article to read.

yep honda ascot... kinda a goofy looking bike... it was honda's version of a street "flat track bike" but failed....

they took a xl500 engine and fitted it to a streetbike frame and retrofitted a crappy starter... which never worked right...

there aren't many floating around anymore...
