Honda VFR...

There's really no point to this post, just wanted to say that I LOVE the new 2002 Honda VFR. Looks absolutely amazing and the sound of it going from the 2 valve to the 4 valve, just gives you goosebumps. I'm seriously considering buying this thing when it comes out next summer.

Is there really any reason not to??

Considering your enthusiasm, no. Unless, of course, you don't have any riding experience, then some of us might be tempted to try to steer you elsewhere. Good luck and keep us posted.

There is no reason not to get the VFR; its a great bike.

The VFR is, as Im sure you know, a supreme all-arounder. BUT, on the other hand, its not a specific type of bike, so dont expect it to be as good as a true sportbike in the twisties and dont expect it to be as good as a ST or Goldwing on the highway. Its a nearly perfect compromise and as long as you understand that, you will Love the thing. ~~Of course it will have typical Honda quality and reliability

I love the new VFR.

I had serious thoughts of trading my 929 in on a '02 VFR, but decided instead to keep the 929 and wait for the '03 VFR. By then the 929 will be paid for and they will have worked out (hopefully) all the bugs in the redesign. Then I can have both.

New VFR = yummy!!! I'm considering importing a silver from Canada.

And if you're gonna wait for the '03 Viffer...it will probably be RED too!

UFO: My offer stands, I will deliver a VFR to your house , nicely broken in

DanOmyte: A VFR is probably a perfect bike for someone from Sask. It is comfortable enough to spend hours on the hiway going in a straight line But sporty enough that it's still fun in town, or if you get to a curvy area.

The older I get,
The better I was.
