Moto GP coming to Indianapolis

Hi all,

I just saw on that moto GP will be coming to Indianapolis in 2008. This is very exciting for me as I live about 8 hours away from the track.

This decision was apparently fueled by Indy's desire to have a two wheeled event for their 100 year celebration in 2009. Apparently the first racing event ever at Indy was a motorcycle race. I am very pumped about this. I hope you guys are too

Re: Moto GP coming to Indianapolis

Yeah I think it's neat to have more than one race here in the states and it will be real interesting to see the layout. Now if only we here in the Northwest could get an approved race facility that would attract all forms of motorsports, that would be awesome. Not really any good race tracks around here. I consider them all run down go-cart tracks but better than nothing.

Looks like we got our first choice for here in Indy so I'll need to lock in those vacation days!
