Talking follish question, but I have to ask.....

Why do I see so many race bikes held up by those full frame holders. Why dont they use kickstands? Does a kickstand interfear with aerodynamics.

Race bikes try to save as much weight as they can, even though the kickstand probly doesn`t even weigh 3lbs, thats alot of weight to them. Also, they have no use for them, they can`t change a tire/sprocket/whatever when its on a kick stand. You`ll also notice they don`t have a starter button, or a kick start.

Look . . . the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances, we guard you while you sleep. Do not fu|< with us.

Also some Kick Stands might drag on the ground while going around a corner. Found this pic on www.ericbostrom.com
