Does anybody know why their isn't any more teems running the 954? Will the RC51 provide ample competition for the GSX-R 1000?

HEY!!! NO trash talking from you Suzuki people!

i'm sure that the 954 or gsx-r1000 would be much match for the honda factory-backed '51's.

the pre-season test times i've seen show b. bostrom, gobert and mladin fastest on the charts. so i'm guessing the v-twin superbike is still the one to beat (except for eric, who is some kind of freak )

the suzuki gsxr1000 is pretty stiff (for a streetbike). but if you look at the design of the 954, it's not really designed to be a super-stiff race-bike. i think when suzuki (and probably kawasaki within a couple of years) start beating the '51's and ducati's, you'll see ducati focus on motogp and honda building a stiffer 954 (though i think it'll be more like 1000cc).

The RC will still be the bike to beat especially with Ben back. The Yosh 1000s will have some problems this year with the screwy rules they are working with. I think Eric with the bored out ZX-7RR will be the best consistant competition for the RCs.

I don't think anyone has told Eric that he is riding an old, slow piece of shite. I bet even Kawasaki are scratching their heads

in formula xtreme, not superbike. new rules let open class 4's in this year.

chandler is supposed to ride the 954 today. i guess we'll have to wait and see.
