Barber Motorsports Park added to series
According to Cycle News...An additional round of the AMA Superbike series has been added to the calender. The season finale will be on September 21-22 at the Barber motorsports park outside of Birmingham, Alabama. This will be 3 weeks after the VIR date, which was the season finale before this event was announced. I'm gonna start making my plans now! A check of the web site for the complex does not confirm nor deny this. However, Cycle News says that this was announced at last Saturdays AMA awards banquet, so I feel 99.9% confident that it is true. Could this be a precurser for MotoGP in the coming years?
