Because if you try to 1-up me again, I don't see a 999 in your future...

Actually, I'd love to get a projector, but I don't have any rooms that are conducive to it.

lol I have to 1-up you somehow... you have my Duc!

We have a big house, so the projector was the perfect choice for a home theater. Cheaper than a plasma, and IMO, the picture quality is not that far off. The price was much less, though. Not to mention the larger picture.

Wouldn't you know it... the FSX Demo is only playable for like 10 minutes. LoMAC demo has no time limit, but there are some other issues with it.

I guess it's time to break out the X-Plane demo.

I just have to bide my time until this weekend. (Birthday is coming up. X-plane, FSX Deluxe, and LoMAC are on the wishlist.)

Hey snake... you didn't tell me X-plane came with software to build your own aircraft.

I also found an add-on Aurora for that game.

I've never actually tried to build one on X-plane. I tried it with one of the older versions of MSFS and the results weren't pretty.

As far as add-on aircraft, you'd be surprised what you can find for X-Plane and MSFS.

FSX seems like a very solid platform, but I am noticing that add-on planes that are actually quality build aren't free. In fact, a great deal of them cost in excess of $40 each.

I downloaded the X-plane demo today. The default jet was pretty sweet.. the graphics look better than fsx, too. Then I switched to an F-22. That didn't go so well. The screen got really jumpy... and I don't mean frame rate. The plane just started glitching everywhere and the screen started flashing red. I thought it was something weird the game did that I didn't know about... Until I got an error message. It told me to get a better computer. (No joke, that was the message.)

Lets try for 4 threads, ehh? lol.

Do you happen to know of any place to get an X-15 for FSX that doesn't cost $35.00?

Google it for FSX and FS2004. That's your best bet if you can't find it at AVSIM

I started off on google. Thats how I know there is one floating around for $35.

Haven't tried avsim, though.

EDIT: avsim has a few of them. Thanks!
