no doubt alex!!! without those calls and especially that last one...there's no way they should've pulled it off.

i hate when the refs intervene and call such game deciding situations...wish they'd just let the kids play at those points in the game...

ohio knows they stole this one...

You know of ALL of the news stories I have read about the game (over 40) the ONLY people that have disputed the call are some Miami fans and (a few) Miami players. NOT ONE journalist or any of the Miami coaching staff has said it was a bad call.

It was a GREAT game and Miami is a great football team. But on Jan 3rd the better team was Ohio State.

Ohio State did not steal this win at all. They came from being 12 point underdogs with no chance to win (according to the media) to shock the world (and Miami) with their defensive play.

Buckeyes Win

All I gotta say is that the Buckeyes played a great game.

I'm from Ohio (and have taken classes at OSU), but I'm a Florida State alum (2 degrees).

Miami has the better athletes, which I concede.

I think the call at the end of the game was legitimate, but should have been holding, not pass interference. Even so, the outcome would be the same. GO BUCKS!

I agree 100% Miami does have the better athletes. And I honestly feel that if they would have pulled together as a team (like Ohio State did) they would have won the game.

Robert, I have to say I am a Miami Alumni, and Ohio State came out with a gambling defence that paid off. In the first half I was just waiting for all that man-to-man coverage to get killed, but the blitzers got in quick enough. I drank at least 4 beers from the end of the 4th quarter through the overtime(s) just to calm my nerves.

My neighbors thought I was killing my wife with as much screaming we were doing during overtime.

And while I'll admit I am happy as hell that the Buckeyes won, even if Miami won It still would have been a kick ass game.

Soooo much better than lastyears lopsided kickass miami put on.
