Poetry written before CBR girl passed

I was on my fastest machine,
I thought I looked pretty mean
As I rode out from my house to my “beat”

I had black leathers on tight
I was the scariest sight
To be the nastiest thing on the street

As my motor did rumble
I was scuffed from a tumble
And no one on earth was faster than me

I took off for the hills
Risking crashes and spills
But that's the price that I pay to be free

I rode as fast as I dare
Without a worry or care
And the engine screamed with delight

The twisty road was my guide
As my spinning tires did slide
I raced the wind in my fantasy flight

But I could spit in Death's face
Cuz I was running my pace
And no damn demon could catch me alive

Through the turns and the twists
I nearly severed my wrists
As I throttled hard then I braked and I dived

The tires screeched in their terror
The engine revved so much fairer
I was the king of my mountain domain

Then in my corner of sight
I saw a flurry of flight
Some challenger to my motorbike reign

Riding much faster than hot
That bastard flew like a shot
And passed me like I was riding a Hog

I swear I've seen men who've cried
When some young kid broke their pride
But I knew that I was wasn't a dog

I had to pick up the speed
To catch that joker indeed
I puckered my butt firmly down on the seat

I went as fast as I could
But it did no reasonable good
And I was forced to admit my defeat

For that maniac won
In the race that we'd run
And my pride burst deep in my chest

For as we had slipped and we slid
I almost fell on my lid
And at top speed I had given my best

At “The Junction” we stopped
For I knew then I'd been topped
By some rookie on a faster machine

On this road I was the “master”
Despite my courting disaster
But this challenger made me feel green

But when the helmet unfurls
I observed those long silken curls
With a smile that buckled my knees

For she was the new master now
And sure she wasn't a cow
A thoroughbred who beat me with ease

I slowly slunk from my bike
As if I was riding a trike
And my eyeballs were glossy and round

For this leathered angel was real
And my heart she could steal
But my pride she had beat to the ground

So let this warning be told
To those who ride 'til they're old
Watch others pass you and calmly observe

If her leathers are tight
And her perfume smells right
Then you're playing with the most dangerous curves!

And in the end you may see
Just how wrong you can be
As your bike now sits alone in its' cave

But the pleasure you'll feel
From girlie kisses and the squeals
Is still nothing like the speed always gave!
