We spent a few days in NC, at Lake Toxaway, while over there on our honeymoon. Drove a borrowed Porsche 914 up there from Atlanta and also went across to the Dragon.

Good times.

I've been riding since 1994 and moved up to a liter bike this year (2007 ZX10-RSE) after putting about 30K on my last 600. Riding is a huge part of my life and I just can't imagine not doing it. When my husband and I met, our first date was going for a long, long ride (like 250 miles). Thankfully, I found a man that loves to ride and is more mechanically inclined than I am. I do try to do some of my own work, but he helps me out with the in depth stuff. Anyway, keep riding ladies and stay safe out there!

good to see more and more ladies hoppin in on here...

I would love to have the weather here to ride year around but I don't think my wallet could handle the expense of racing year around

I've been hanging around here a bit lately too. It's definitely one of the calmer motorcycle forums and seems to be frequented by people who know how to act like adults!

I've been riding motorcycles of some type ever since I was old enough to do so. I moved from dirt to full time street riding in my very early 20's and haven't looked back since!

Currently own a Yamaha R6 (2007 50th) and a Yamaha Virago (going to be the gf's bike if she wants to learn how to ride). Also "babysitting" a Kawasaki 1500 Vulcan for a friend and I can't just let it sit there unridden now can I??

Be safe out there!

Hey Melissa!

A lot of sufferers of PennDOT fury on this site! We just got a nice snowfall out here in Pittsburgh... hope your roads aren't as ugly looking as ours right now!

Welcome aboard!
