Hey everyone!

Hey everyone! I'm new to the thread and to riding so I thought I'd introduce myself. I just started riding but I've ridden with my bf for the past 4 years.
It's a big bike to start out with and I've been very careful but I've sorta inherited his 929. He's looking at buying a 954 currently. I have ridden previously, we had a couple dirt bikes I used to practice on a lot.
Thanks to the great weather we've been having we've been out riding a lot and I have to confess, I am addicted!!! *grin*
I'm from Indiana, any others near me??

Thanks I'm excited to meet other women riders. They're pretty scarce around this area. One of my friends rides a bike but it's a Honda Shadow 600. I think she's gettin jealous though and wanting a sport bike now. *grin*

HOWDIE!

Take it easy on the 929 tell you get the throttle control down pat, that bike can be a little temperamental at certain RPM's !

Oh yeah, I'm real careful. thanks for the advice!
The throttle is definately touchy. It'll be nice once I get used to the bike and comfortable with it though. Just roll it and it'll come up.

Your off to a promising start!

Enjoy the bike, it'll last forever if you take care of it. Is your B/F on this board?? I would like to further try to convince him to pick up a 54...........excellent bike.

He's pretty sure he's getting it, just has to work out everything. He just registered as slowride. PM him if ya want He needs all the encouragement he can get since I've taken over the 929. *evil laugh*
