Exclamation The CBR929rr is MINE Now!!

This weekend was certainly a good one in our household. Saturday we went back to the bike shop (where they're quite familiar with us looking around and sitting on bikes and wishing) and ended up spending 4 hours there (kids were bored silly).

Hubbie test rode a Ducati 748 that he liked ok... but he went back inside and started looking at the CBR1000rr again, and the owner's wife was like, "Well, let me get this serviced for you, it looks like you're going to buy something today...." and they wheeled the all black 1000 back for a battery, oil, etc. So my husband was the first rider on that bike, and of course he loved it.

I ended up going inside while he stayed outside staring at it... and I got the loan to buy it.... and in doing so, I traded my '90 Hawk in!!

So he is an official 1000rr owner, and I get a fantastic hand-me-down w/ the 929rr. AWESOME. We began his breaking in period that afternoon, and we got 200 miles on his bike.... plus rode in to work together this morning, so he's at 230 miles. LOL!!!

These two bikes look AWESOME riding down the road together.... his all black, and my yellow/black.

Congrats!

I am a little bit pea-green here... I would love to have a new bike again!

Well behaved women rarely make history.

I'm not mean, you're just a sissy.

Major congrats on the upgrade!!

Repeal helmet laws, they only protect people we most likely don't need in the gene pool any way!

Good for you girl! I bought my boyfriends 954 when he got his 1000RR, so I know how you feel! Has he let you ride his new baby yet? (It will make you want one too.) ENJOY!!!

Well he told me to go out and ride the 1000 for a while, to keep racking up the "break-in" miles... but I declined. hehe I'll ride it after a little while.

I'm still awed w/ my 929!
