This is great!! I don't know where to start. hehehe
I live in an area where I see precious few ladies on bikes, and it's usually Harley-type women (which is fine, LOL!). I have laid eyes on two chicks... both on Honda sportbikes, but wasn't able to speak to either one due to traveling in opposite directions.
I did a quick intro in the New Members area... but a little recap: I'm Lisa, and I live in coastal South Carolina. I currently ride two bikes: I own a 1990 Honda Hawk GT650 that I am currently trying to sell. It was my first bike, and a great learner... but I am now ready to upgrade. My husband has a 2001 Honda CBR929RR, and I am going to inherit that as soon as my Hawk sells. I already ride it anytime that hubby is not, which is about 60% of the time.
I am a daily rider/commuter to work (about a 50 mile round trip), and we ride on weekends for fun when we can. My husband is looking at the new liter bikes to replace the 929 when I take it over... he's having fun looking and choosing.
I've never done a track day or anything like that. I think the closest track is 5 hours away in Atlanta... I don't see that happening anytime soon. LOL!! A trip to Deal's Gap in the mountains of western North Carolina would be easier to accomplish.
Anyway, I guess this is enough for now. LOL! Awesome to find this women's area, and to see that it's active!!
