Looking for boots

I have been looking at bikes recently and realized my height is more of a problem than i thought it would be. I have a very short inseam which is making it hard for me to reach the ground. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good boot with a thick sole.

Sounds like a good idea going in, BUT... Extra thick soles make shifting very difficult to impossible. How bad is it?

Have you seen these? They'd not only make you taller, but you'd look really fast!

Question

Have you considered a lowering kit, depending of course on what bike you have?

You might also consider looking at aftermarket seats. The Corbin I had on my F3 lowered it about 3/4 inch, as I recall.

It turned out the kangaroo was right.
