Question I should probably ask the dealer this but.....

Ok, my chevy tracker has an anti-theft device. It requires ya to hit the mirror adjustment button prior to turning the when the red light flashes. It's a pain in the ass and in most situations unnecessary. I wanted to know if there is a way to deactivate it so that I don't have to do that when i go to start it back up?

I am back!

there is always a way to disengage it but if you do, you will not have a anti-theft device and if anything happens to your vehicle, and it gets stolen, you may get in trouble for having it disengaged, especially since your insurance company probably gives you a discount for having it to begin with. besides that, if you financed it, you may be bound to having it becuase technically the truck isn't yours.
