neither!

Dodge Ram 1500. I bought mine (regular cab) cause I was looking for the cheapest new PU I could trade in my upside down car on, but now I really like the short look. A bit sportier.

I'm a Ford man here. My current p/u is a 97 Black F150
Flairside which I bought new in 96. Have owned a 87
Bronco 2, a 94 Ranger/Splash, and a 95 full size F150
with the straight six and dual tanks. They were all good
trucks except for the Bronco 2. Tranny and paint trouble
with that one.

Dodge all the way. Ram 1500 with the Hemi or 2500/3500 with the Cummins. Or if you want something a little smaller but can still hold it's own theirs Dakotas. The truck is bigger than the mini's so you can do more with it, and if you get the 4.7 it's the best balanced engine/truck combo I've found. Only truck I would go for that wasn't a Dodge would be a F-250/350 Super Duty only if it had the Powerstroke Diesel.
