pipe, depends on the sound you want.

the views and opinions expressed by tony (cbrf2boy) are the ramblings of a total idiot. sbw.com, it's administrators, moderators, and members don't necessarily agree with and are not responsible for anything this idiot has to say.

Cool

Cool, another 929 owner, what color is yours? I am researching different slip-ons too but am far from a descision.

On that Power Commander, can someone tell me about that thing. Does it come with one preset map or are there several to choose from? Can you go back to stock settings easily?

I met guy who had the 2 brothers X-Metal pipe on his 929 and it was LOUD. Check their website, http://www.twobrothers.com/
it shows different ways to istall depending on what sound you want.
I have the V&H S4 on my F4 and it is very loud, I think they also make it for the 929 now. I can't wait to get a 929 next year!

I have read that the slip on pipes on the 929 are making the bike LOSE about 4HP. I would make sure that you do your research and get dyno graphs before making that purchase.

Again welcome to the family, the 929 is a great bike. I put on a D&D slipon, it sounds really good at higher RPMs, but it doesn't compare to my old F4 that was loud as he$$. My buddy has a Leo Vinci on his and the D&D is louder.
As for losing hps you have to do your homework. D&D told me that their slipon adds 6 hp, but I haven't dynoed yet. My buddy with the Leo dynoed at 127.8 hp, but didn't dyno without it. I can assure you that these slipons add hp.
