Well the reason I say that Gixxer is king again is not just that Motorcycle-USA said it, but also Sport Rider, Motorcyclist, MC News.com-AU, and SuperBike mag from UK all named the GSX-R1000 best open class bike.

It was my understanding Motorcyclist Mcnews and superbike were not out for 06 yet?

well I did overstate the fact that Motorcyclist has yet to release their shoot-out (should be in this next issue) but the others have all done their testing.

Maybe I am wrong, but you will need to help me understand where... I have looked into the sites you described and I am almost ready to pull the BS card on you....

http://www.sportrider.com/toc/thismonth/ - No 2006 1k shoot out as of yet....

You answered the Motorcyclist claim yourself..... non-existant

http://www.mcnews.com.au/
From what I can see... they have only tested 3 - 2006 bikes total.... no 1000's yet...

http://reprints.superbike.co.uk/browse/superbike/
Found a 2006 first ride... no comparison of the 1000's yet. If you can find the article you should post it up.

This IS A complete review at motorcycle USA - http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/Articl...ID=3149&Page=8

Also Cycle world in complete form....
http://sbw.sportbikes.com/showthrea...&threadid=58183

The real test to me is master bike.... I feel more confident about it more than any other.

don't get me wrong gixxer 1K is a great bike but if your goal is to come on this site and say it's king and here is why you should have your ducks in a row... or you come across as needing approval for your purchase, or just a plain poser... Sorry just my opinion.
