Thought the 1000RR's also have that too.

ZX10 is more powerfull and lighter. earlier CBR's were easier to handle and this made them faster in the hands of most riders. Newer might not have the same quality. we'll see.

I know it probably boils down to the the ZX10 being more of a performance machine and the CBR being more like the cadillac.

Cadillac my ass. Make no mistakes they are both high performance super heroes. I'll bet money that there isnt a single person on this board that can push either of those bikes to their limit.

Releasing the murcielago doesnt exactly make the diablo slow does it?

So the zx10 has a few hp (probly less than 10) on the CBR. The CBR is still everybit as powerfull as the factory race bikes of the late 90's.

caddy.... yea... you won't find any caddy's in this league...
Maybe you should consider a FZ1 for something more comfy.. and also with tons of power.

and those oh-so-ugly looks the new Kawi's all seem to have. Long gone are the days of the 03-04 ZX6R and 04-05 ZX10R sexyness. I am completely done with Kawi. The R1 was my first and only consideration for a new bike until I read the artical on the 06 1000RR this morning. Now I am leaning quite heavily toward it.

Agreed... they seemed to have ruined the zx10 with this last model.. more weight, more rake, maybe more hp, and definetly uglier looks (and I didnt think the zx10 was that pretty to begin with).

The CBR1k got heavily modified as well.. it used to be quiet heavier than the rest of the crew and down on power... this year the made it pretty damn competetive... but rumors are going around that it lost its friendliness. So if the rumors are true, my next bike migh end up the gixxer... if the rumors are bullshit, I'll get a cbr.

Sorry dont do the R series bikes.. they remind me of a boyband.
