05 GSXR 600 or the 05 Yamaha R6

I am not sure if this would be the best section to place this so if any wants to move it to where it might get more views thanks for the help.

I am looking at buying either the 05 GSXR 600 or the 05 Yamaha R6. There are alot of good looking bikes out there, these just happen to catch my eye more than the others.

My question is: "Which bike did you choose over the others and why? Are there any know problems(recalls/known issues) on these bikes that might persuade me to steer away from them and maybe choose the other? Are there any benefits from one to another? I have searched through quite a few posts and am looking to try an get a summary of things to sway me one way or the other. Personal experience is welcomed as well as issues/benefits of each you have seen on the net.

Thank you for all your help.
Kyle

All these bikes are so close in perfomance now-a-days it'll really come down to looks and comfort. It may be worth it to see what yamaha does for the 06.

Suzuki has a hazard flasher, maybe cuz it needs it. Hahaha!!!

Just messing round.

I love the R6, it fit me best and it looks great to me.

The R6 model for 06 will change totally. But, I think Yamaha will shock you all with the 07 R1.
