Looks like they took some styling cues from Yamaha....

I'll have to agree with the Yamaha comment....

I'm not overly impressed. Unless they've crammed FI and dropped some significant weight, I'm not gonna be running out and trading in my '00

yeah I guess thats what bothering me. The ergos look VERY uncomfortable on that. I can understand the sportier look, but it looks like Kawi has intentionally ripped off Yamaha to design that.

Yeah, im gonna have to agree with you guys about the backstabbing of Yamaha. Same here Redninja, i don't think im to impress with the style...i'll stick with my 00' and if i did wanted to buy the new 636 i'd rather buy the 03' yamaha R6. They are nice bikes but not jaw dropping if you know what i mean. Does anyone know if they are going to be the same price as the 02' or higher. Nice going Kawasaki ........yeah right....i bet Yamaha are laughing

I'm sticking with my 00' model

Actually Kawasaki released some prototype drawings that were supposed to be of their new GP bike, and IMO this 600/636 looks more like the drawings than the Gp bike does. I have always been a fan of the cat eyed front ends. I think it is a step in the right direction, but it does have too strong of a Yamaha look as it is. Those Nitride coated forks look good

Exclamation

WILL............ALL INTERESTED KAWI PILOTS!

From an inside source...........The '03 is supposed to be injected. That is, the "race ready" AMA Homologation Version.

I will be given the straight scoop from our dealer support during the SAN ANTONIO SHOW or right after! OUR TEAM IS LOOKING @ THE ZX6-RR OR THE HONDA CBR600-F5...........Yes, the F-5!

NOTE: If KAWI does not release the FI for '03 it will be either mid-year or in '04!

Don't ask......Old Air Force adage. If I tell you I will have to kill you.
