New Honda RR....yeah or naa?

I was reading about the RR the other day and, WOW, it sounds like a ground pounder. The looks are mean and sounds like Honda has done it again. What do you think......

Being a new 954 owner, I'd have to say that I think the bike is ab-so-freakin' awesome!!! I only have about 600 miles on mine so far. It rides really nice. Loads of power, and plenty of handling. I would suggest it to any of my friends.

The only mods I've done are an Erion Racing pipe, new headlight lamps (super white, not blue!!), a second look tank bra, and removed the rear fender and plate assembly. I had to make my own plate assembly. Turned out pretty good.

Anyway, let me know if you have any questions...........JB

Yeah. Bought mine in Feb and love it. I love the looks and power. I had to remove that hideous white tail sticker though. Threw a D&D Slip on it recently and it roars. Just finished polishing the rims this weekend. Next up- Get rid of that huge fender.

PS. Seat sucks though.

yeah, I hear ya about that seat. I saw recently that Motor Cyclist Magazine did a comparo on the four big bikes of 2002. The Honda tied for second with the R1 and of course the GSXR prevailed as usual. They did complain about the seat but loved how you could swing it side to side so easily and the power. I have never ridden one but it does sound like a bad bike.
I still am partial to the R1, though.......the silver bullet baby
