Done & Dusted

No more racing for me!

Not an easy decision, and the list of reasons and excuses are as long as your arm.

In short, I'm not really enjoying it anymore and not performing the way I want to. This is not a knee jerk reaction but a carefully considered assessment over the past year.

That means that #42 is up for grabs. New in FEB 05 it's been raced only in 6 events and well looked after by Ah Hoi (Sunway Cycle). Its stored at Sepang by msportbike.

List of goodies on this 05 R6 are;

1) Full Titanium Race Exhaust (Akropovic)
2) Yamaha Race ECU
3) Power Commader III
4) RaceTech Fork Internals/Springs
5) RaceTech Internals Rear shock
6) Ohlins Steering Damper
7) AIM Laptimer & Beacon
8) Steel Braided Brake Lines (front)
9) Head Skimmed/Port Cleaned Up(Hallam Racing)
10) Inlet Cam Reprofiled (Hallam Racing)
11) Race Fairing & Body Work
12) 520 Chain & Sprockets (New Chain)

Last Dyno Run(June 06) it made 115.14 bhp at the rear wheel @ 13500rpm. Max torque 45.90

Its never been dropped or crashed.

It's got paid up storage at Sepang till Sept 06, all the stock parts are avaiable and stored at Sunway Cycle. It's Road taxed for another 6 months so it could be changed back to a road goer if you wanted to.

It's a solid track bike and needs a good rider. I'm asking S$16K for the whole package with full transfer of ownership/registration.

Anyone hear of anyone, "seriously interested" let me know.

You might want to post a pic with more of the bike and less of your fat arse

You've obviously lost it. Not only throwing in yer gloves but selling #42 for 16 K. You must have paid that for the bits alone.

If only i wasn;t fat and full of steel. Give papa rod a call

Had to use my step ladder to change a light bulb cos i don't get on with my real ladder.

Dont tell me

You have finally been offered a place on the Singapore Dominoes squad?

Dont you know anyone who is selling a race legal bike, now that you have addmitted to:
9) Head Skimmed/Port Cleaned Up(Hallam Racing)
10) Inlet Cam Reprofiled (Hallam Racing)
The future buyer will get dogs abuse for the bent motor

On a different subject, are you around later this week? I get in on Thursday and need to talk to you about summat.

No Secrets

Yes thought about that for a while, but on reflection I only did those mods last month and at the time I was about the only legal bike on the grid anyhow. So anyone throwing stones should be careful of their own greenhouse!

Didn't make a sods difference to my performance in fact I slowed down!!

Think poor old Chas is the only "true" stocker left and he still managed to cream all the amatuers including the..... ,er hmn, 125bhp 749.

I'll be in town this week and I think I'lll be coming to Beijing soon for work.

I am trying to sell it quick before a burst of ill deserved confidence comes my way.

Papa would be a good option but transfer of ownership is a must. I don't want the paperwork round my neck. I'll give him a bell anyhow.

I did not buy a mountain bike. I still have difficulty balancing on 2 wheels.

I bought this really cool bike with training wheels. Helps me balance while I learn to paddle.... its the best thing that ever happened to me. Its made by Mattel.

It even comes with this really cool bell on the right handlebar and its got a pretty ribbon on it too... I use it to horn down the slower kids down at the track.

I just won the Open Class down at the World Kids Central Quadcycle Championships.

The prize was really cooooool. It was a $50 Toys 'R' Us voucher.

I sure made ma daddy proud!

Anyone want to share my sweets?

change of scenery

So boycie

What you need is a change of venue, i should take delivery of a new 636 next week, there are a few people up in shanghai who make the sunday a regular thing. 3 weekends ago i had the entire circuit to myself.

failing that, mid august there is a race at ZhuHai, you can hire an 06 10 or 636, fully race prepped - well, almost. Definately a lot of fun!

Will
Lee Harvey Oslwald - Where are you now that we need you??????
