download bike vids

As it was pissin me off so much i decided to sort out the race vid thing.
so i've setup a ftp server for you lot.
steps ....
1 Get yourself an ftp program ( file transfer protocol) ( freedownloads.com or similar)
2. SMS me and i'll give you the access details
3. Download the file of choice
4. Download the DIVX player HERE
5. Play the movie on your PC
6. If you want to play it on your DVD player you'll have to burn it to a CD ( VCD) or a DVD. I recommend NERO ..click HERE to download.

The current files there are the first round ( race 1 and 2) of SBK in qatar with a spannish commentary ( don;t ask!!!!)
I'll be putting up last years moto gp for a while too.

Had to use my step ladder to change a light bulb cos i don't get on with my real ladder.

update

Well i've posted a few vids but the file size is quite big.

The divx file are good quality but too big. I've now got and xvid codec ( the software that squashed the files) and thats easier to control so i shoulkd be able to get the files down to 300 meg or so.

Of course the source quality was only off the TV here and on my DVD recorder so don't expect any George Lucas quality yet.

Had to use my step ladder to change a light bulb cos i don't get on with my real ladder.

New update
Instead of the DIVX codec i'm trying out the Xvid codec which seems to give the same quality but a smaller file size.

You can get the codec here click at the bottom of the page ( the zip file is easiest)

Try and get hold of "Super DVD ripper" and yer done.

It's amazing how much time i have when i'm not in hospital every 5 mins

This armchair is waaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too comfy

Had to use my step ladder to change a light bulb cos i don't get on with my real ladder.

Return of the Ambulance Specialist?

If I am not wrong, your depth ability should have stabilised by now and if I remember correctly, some time ago there was some chap who racing in some series somewhere in the world with only one eye.
