Rossi seeing red

When most of the MotoGP riders enjoy some well-deserved holidays and take a break from motorsport, current series leader Valentino Rossi enjoyed a two-day test at Fiorano with the Scuderia Ferrari. The Gauloises Yamaha rider already had a taste of Formula 1 last year at the prestigious Italian manufacturer test circuit.

“I wanted to get a better understanding of a Formula 1 car and I would like to thank Ferrari for giving me the opportunity to do so,” said Rossi, whose previous 4-wheel outings also included participations in rally events.

“The two days were intensive and interesting. I completed a lot of kilometres and I began to understand the handling of the car, working with the engineers and [test driver] Marc Gené. I go back to the two wheels where there is still a long way to go to the end of the season.”

Cant be too long before he farks off to the boring world of F1 to follow in the footsteps of Sir John Surtees. Wont be next year if BP is right about his new Yamaha contract.

well

What do you mean if BP is right.
If you keep losing podium bets you'll be paying for next year hotel too

Don't see Rossi going to cars just yet. I think he could well be on for a stint with Ducati first.
Or maybe Suzuki could dump the jelly bears that are riding now and make it to the championship.

Dont think even Rossi could get a win out of that "bag o shite" that Suzuki laughingly call a GP bike. Probably better off using a Gixxer
If there is a yank to watch it isnt the pin up boy that you fancy its Hopkins
Rossi on a Duc would be interesting but a Kwaker would be even better

Hang on, those "bag o shites' go alright in the wet - haha, narh your right.... Suzuki should just walk away from GP until they come up with something better than a POS kwacka

Bp's poster boy

I'm just hoping little Pedrosa gets a seat next year so we can all watch him flappin' from the bars trying to hold on to 200 ponies

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?
