Indeed...

Would be interesting to know how many of the new parts are interchangeable with my '04 model. Understand that even though the '05 R6 looks pretty similar at first glance, except the upside down forks with the radial brakes, the frame and swingarm had to be changed. The reason being that the new fork has a different angle in addition to obvious characteristics changes.
