Rider Insurance

I have a close friend who works in the London Insurance market who can provide cover for most eventualities such as loss of life, loss of limb, death etc.

I have a load of documentation to read through but he has recently quoted on club insurance that lets members elect to do race by race insurance.

Its not cheap though ..... and I think, off the top of my head, you're talking US$ 400 or so per FIM accredited race, depending on the scope of cover and type of pay out.

I'll read on a bit and put some figures down if you like, but is there anyone out there interested...

Re: Rider Insurance

Something I learnt from watching a track day in Sydney,
they actually defined the event, which was held at Eastern Creek, a closed road circuit.

Somehow, that was enough to get around the insurance thingy and have participants covered, including their bikes, by the participants own road insurance.
