Yesterday's Demolition Derby Results are In

A few of the regulars spent yesterday down at the Island and it was a bit of a crashfest... not sure what brought it on but there were plenty of vans and trailers heading home with twisted and broken machines.

I cruised down early Mon morning to meet the wimps who had stayed the night in Cowes, drinking and eating at the pub. The day cleared into perfect sunshine which is fairly rare down there so everything looked good, until this....

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

Not to be outdone

Then while just behind me coming out of turn 11 (3rd gear hard over on the left side) Stets had a sympathy loose and went off in a shower of fibre and alloy. The end result looked something like this....

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

A real pisser

End result was the subframe snapped on both sides (as the bike flipped fairly hard) all the glass and rearsets etc. luckily no damage to the tank or pipe, hard to see how not though??

I think his biggest worry was getting home to consult the wife with the bad news...

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

Is like THE MAN!!

and you could try and get a 2 for 1 deal with Stets as he'll most likely be down there shortly

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?
