Question Anyone selling a bike?

I'm seriously looking at buying another bike now and am looking for either a used CBR 954 or SP1 or 2 (I await abuse for those choices - yes I know they are different engines etc ).

Does anyone know of good ones being sold (no crashes, no "one careless twattish owner" etc)?

Anyone know of any good websites where bikes are advertised here in Singapore??

Appreciate any info.

Hopefully I'll get onto the track a bit more with the new toy

Selling the monster truck eh?

www.singnet.com.sg
www.yahoo.com.sg

Check the classifieds on these websites. There might be some bikes of your choice.

Motorsales Centre down at Ubi has a few SP1s the last time I was down there. You could check down at Looi's too. Saw an SP1 there last time out.

What about good ol' Joe? He might have something.

Speaking of 954s... what happened to Mr Oly? Have not seen or heard from him...anyone got any news on him? He off to Shanghai?

Cheers...

Thumbs up Cheers

Thanks for the replies:

e240 - yr mate never got in contact, has he sold the bike??

Chumley - I like triumphs but the servicing is shite here and getting spares is a real pain - as my mate Bruce recently found out after falling off his RS at Sepang. Thanks anyway.

Tug - am looking to spend perhaps up to 18 grand at the most, but would prefer about 15K. Is that well out of the range? For the GSXR?

He has just returned from penang last night.
He's sent you an SMS this morning. I've asked him to give you a call anyway.

Here's a pic of his bike. if I'm not wrong, its carbon everything and an extended range tank from fuel cell. ohlins everything as well.

You could get a decent almost stocker for about that without too much trouble. A new one probably wouldnt cost more than 20. The Mighty One would be more like 25 and you would have to ask nicely
Id steer clear of weird and wonderfull contraptions like the SP or Triumphs and the like. Id start with a clean second hand R6 or Gixxer 6 if I was wanting cheep and an effecticve road legal track weapon. Next option, Id keep the juggernaught and by a duty free race bike from Barry in Malaysia. S$14,000 should see you on a brand new track ready CBR6 or the like. In the litre class at that kind of price it would have to be a Gixxer 1000, 2002 R1 might be hard to find at that price and the 01 isnt the most forgiving of beasts. Might be possable to pick up a bargain unused 2001 blade if you hunt around. Might be worth talking to Oly, the 02 blade is slightly scuffed and has Ohlins etc. He could be suseptable to an offer.

Frankly, I'd get the K3 GSXR1000. Don't think its going to cost that much more than 2nd Hand bikes anyway.

Expect to pay at least 25 grand for a K3, might be more what with the insurance price hike
