It has been pointed out that lively starts are much more entertaining that the standards ones (now we understand what you were trying to do Tug ).
In this regard it was decided in a fit of drunken giggling (and snorting) last night that the 'Running Start' (a la Le Mans) should be dug up from the annals purely for crowd and video entertainment. The rules are - there are no rules until you're on a machine. Points will be given for the best nobbling technique and full scale punch-ups will be positively encouraged. Perhaps to add a wee bit more interest to the proceedings competitors should be made to suit and boot up on the grid too
I for one look forward to the next race meeting although the video footage will probably be even more shaky than usual due to a severe bout of hysterics
