Timely Enquiry

Fude,

Thanks for raising the licensing issues.

I will put something together on this in the next couple of days and email it around as well as post it here in the forum.

Basically as a Sporean you will have to hold an SMSA license. Mojo is co-ordinating with SMSA to ensure that there is a Sporean grid for the MSS, but that needs a min of 10 riders.

Watch this space... I'll get back to you.

SMSA riding clinic

Carl and I were there, Dave just came for the theory; I guess he reckons he can practice it later...

Instructors included Fabian Looi and Glen Allerton (Ozzy Supersport) and a couple of quick local guys.

35 students ranging from didn't understand counter-steering down to SBR members so no hope of pitching the material to suit all, and every effort was spared to do this.

The track day was better if only because it only rained just before we started and then again when we should have had a race to finish. In between we got sunburnt and dehydrated being shown how to turn in early at each of four turns, about 45 minutes at each turn having one go after another then stopping short and turning back for another go.

Best bit - riding the turns in the wrong direction!
