Exclusive Track Day at PG

OK Guys,..
Just got off the phone with Uncle Joe and we have GOOD NEWS!!..

We have been invited by PG management for 2 track day events, whereby all of us can hone our skills around PG, for 2 days.

Here's the deal;
We will need a minimum of 30 riders,..and cost will be RM100/day which works out to S$50/day. Since we are already paying RM50/hr,..this will be a real steal.

In addition, we will be given 2 bungalows at Tanjung Puteri for all of us to bunk in for Saturday night, and maybe I'll throw in the drinks.

When we awaken from our beauty sleep,.we will again have access to the track for a full day on Sunday.

Total cost to us is only RM200 for both days, which works out to only S$100 for the whole package.

As a bonus, UJ will be inviting Cameron Donald from Down Under to provide some guidance in the fine art of going faster. For those who are unfamiliar, Cameron is currently the top 5 Supersport rider who raced competitively in this year's World Supersport Championship. The privileged few who were at Philip Island met with him during our visit to Melbourne and extended our invitation for him to come to Singapore and PG, and he has expressed his interest, and is very keen to come over for a few days before he gets on his race prep regime. He races the R6.

If we can organise this rare event, we must have this take place in Jan 2003. Likely, the last weekend ie,.26th and 27th Jan.

Now let's see, we have the track to ourselves for 2 days,.we have 2 bungalows for some post track-day partying to unwind, we have a world class superpsort racer riding with us. What more can beat this. SP will be closed from this wknd, and will be closed until the F1 is over. That leaves Jan, and probably even Feb open for much deliberation.

So can we have a show of interest, and commitment to participate in this event. I know I am in for sure. We just need 29 riders more.

We will need to have the numbers as soon as possible, so we can confirm with both PG and Cameron.

This is indeed an opportunity too good to miss.

26th and 27th ???

Sunday and Monday, interesting choice of date

Just got off the dog with Mojo and he was looking at a 2002 diary when he wrote the message, its Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th.

If you want to take part e mail SBR stating what day/days, what bike you will ride and if you require accomodation. I will mail back with an acceptance, after that you will need to pay before the booking is confirmed.

What da fark?...still using me 2002 calendar..?

Sorry Good folks of SBR,..the correct dates should have been 25 and 26 Jan 2003.

It was just that I was a little too excited by the thought of all the poyential action, that I quickly checked up on the calendar but failed to recognise that we are now in the NEW year.

Feel free to kick me butt anytime....

Cheers....

Msiing posts and Missing person...

It is peculiar that we have yet to see a post from the Legend himself...knowing him, he would already be on this thread spewing his comments and expressing his excitement about the day... knowing his obsession with PG and all..

Oi..Ledge where art thou?
