Green slime all over Sepang??

Garry McCoy returned to action with Kawasaki in Sepang today after recovering from an operation to remove a pin and several screws in his right tibia bone last month. The Australian joined his MotoGP team-mate Andrew Pitt and Kawasaki test riders Alex Hofmann and Akira Yanagawa for his first real session aboard the all-new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-RR. The team enjoyed dry and hot conditions on the first of three days of testing and Grand Prix winner McCoy was glad to be united with his new machine. `Itīs really my first test on the bike apart from a few laps that I did straight after the race in Valencia, and there are still a lot of things that we have to work out,ī said McCoy, who has ridden the Yamaha YZR500 for the last three seasons. `I have got to get comfortable with the bike and find a few settings to make it feel comfortable, and I think itīs just going to take time. Obviously, the new Kawasaki four-stroke machine is very different to the old two-stroke. Itīs got a lot more acceleration right through the power-band, but itīs not as aggressive, not as snappy as a two-stroke, so it doesnīt feel as fast. Going into the turns is a little bit difficult for me also, because the bike has a slipper clutch that you donīt use on a two-stroke.

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?

Gazza was there on Sunday

He was trying to keep his bosses away from us to protect his job

BC did give him a few tips but Gazza couldnt get the hang of exiting the turns while sitting on the tank and biting the screen

Glad the old Green Meanie is back in GP's, ZX-10 in the shops soon ? Whats the news ? I fancy a new set of green leathers next season

One for the Duc fans out there...

The Ducati Corse MotoGP team have travelled to Phillip Island, in Australia, in order to complete a three-day testing session before the Christmas break. Loris Capirossi and Troy Bayliss carry on the development of the Ducati Desmosedici and were already on the pace on the first day. Despite gusty winds, the high temperatures (33°C on the track) allowed the riders to follow the schedule of the day, focussed on cooling systems and tyre testing, with the new 2003 Michelin tyres.
Riding at home, Troy Bayliss completed 87 laps and clocked a best time of 1ī32.8. His team mate Loris Capirossi walked unscathed from a crash in the Honda curve. He was able to resume testing and completed 48 laps. Various glitches prevented the Italian from completing long runs, but he lapped in 1ī32.4, a time close to the lap record from the Grand Prix in October. Tomorrow, the team will enjoy a day off and will resume testing on Thursday.

Is it weird in here, or is it just me?
