Smile The MSS R1 series

Sounds like Harry has had a run on R1's Ive seen YP on his beaming like an geriatric in a lap dancing bar, still to see our Technical Director on his. Legend has been MIA since he took delivery of the new toy so whats he been up to ?
A) Trying to fit the roof rack and tow bar ?
B) Trying to remove the sticky mess he made on the clocks after riding it home ?
C) Trying to find his way home after collecting it ?
D) Trying to find Harrys to collect it (he called me asking for directions, it went a bit like this "Im on a junction close to the traffic poilce office so it should be next left ? How come all the road signs are in Malay ?"

Earth to Legend, come in Legend...

Are one 4 me.

Yeap, I've taken delivery of my new machine. On sunday Silva and meself rode to Mersing and back.

I can report that the R1 is very nice. Lots of power and very agile. The riding position is a lot more committed than the CBR, so it is more hard work, though. My neck feels pretty stiff today and my thighs are pretty sore as well. I guess its just a matter of time before I get used to it. Maybe I'll have to go to the gym and work out?

Arf Arf .... just goes to show ... if ya chuck enough shite about .. some of it will finally stick ....

Now, the Legend must hold his hand up here and take full credit for Boycies name. Pity the cant never gets in here, but in the absence of him being able to defend himself....it's do a half arsed job to ease me conscience.

I mentioned his new name at the last race.... and he gave me a stare that ain't possible by no baby !! .... so i got to thinking that "The Babyfaced Assassin" has a nice ring to it .... which would be BFA to those that are stupid.

This would lead to all sorts of permutations .. which are quite cool .. like:

Big Farkin Arsewipe
Baby Fooka Andy
Bastard Fat AngMo

You missed the obvious:

Butt Fugging Alchoholic
Bendoon & Fill my Arseup (Scottish fudge packer)

There is a theme developing here

Now lads

think we should at least wait till he joins the forum before we start....ah f it

Bent For Ages
Big Foookin Arse
Big Friggin Arsehole

Tug. Sad to say my best at PG was a hard fought 1 :46 in qualifying for the Johor series 97 ...i then binned it on the warm up lap>>>>>>>.dont ask.
In my defence it was on a standard '96 standard 916 no fancy shocks exhaust etc and shite tyres. Havin said that I'd be over the moon to get under1:45> There's only so fast a 6ft 2 102 kg bloke can go. Wont stop me tryin though.
The old duc seems really slow kickin out 105hp on a good day. Still a joy in the turns.
Not sure of my way forward.
AFter a 2 year stop from Malasia and a couple of big crashes the confidence will take a while to return. But i still love it to bits
See ya there soon

Cheers
