Question helmet liner

This is to all guys and gals in the military.

I have a problem with a severe hot spot when I ride for more than an hour.

I was in the Air Force and during part of that time I was on aircrew status and during that time I was given a helmet liner that fixed this problem.

My question is this: Does anyone know the NSN for this liner and the nomenclature listed on the tag for this liner?

(I lost mine a year after I got out.)

I'm guessing you're referring to the kevlar donut. You can pick one up at just about any surplus store or online at ranger joes or any other army site.

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.

Arrow

No, it's more of a fabric cap - it's gray in color and it covers all of your hair. It's a thick fabric, but it doesn't cause your helmet to be tight.

I wish I had more info on it like a name or something else, but oh well...

I was just hopeing that someone on here would know.

aaahhh I know what you're talking about. Sadly, I don't know the actual name or nsn for it. Sorry... look around on some surplus sites, or maybe get yourself into a PX or clothing sales store. They should have somethin.
