Our trip to Corbin
The trip was fun. We left really early on Sunday morning. Went about 76 miles on the stock seat before things were numb......
Trip thru Gilroy was just as garlicky as I had heard of.
Hollister was booming......not.
Hot, but not much going on.
Corbin totally kicked ass. We checked in and they gave us a pass to have a free meal at the Wizards cafe. We had already had breakfast, so we saved it for lunch. My assistant was pretty funny......"Jose". He pulled out a stock Corbin for the Sprint. Now sitting on a stock one on the freeway would have been fine, but having all of that foam around my inner thighs.......well, I couldn't put my feet down............so if you are gonna get one, definately, go there and get it cut down to what fits you the best.
Then we put my silver star on the back seat............as usual.
Cover was done extremely quick. The lady's back there are on the BALL!
Then was sat and had lunch and watched them take care of the other 8 people that had pulled in behind me. The showroom was impressive. Lots of great art work, and cool vintage bikes. Pics coming soon.
Trip home was eventful. Somewhere near San Jose we're crusing along at about 70 and traffic just fucking stops. Donald hit his brakes hard, and stopped beautifully. There's something to be said about ABS. I hit mine hard and locked up the rear wheel. The thing starts sliding back and forth over the road, and the next second it starts to have a tank slapper. I managed to swerve enough to miss Donald and then miss the car in front of us. Don't know how I did it........but I'm sure my Guardian Angels had something to do with most of the staying upright part. Scared the crap out of me. But, we are okay, and we didn't crash, and we made it home. That's one memory that I won't be forgetting any time soon.
Dog looks like he gained some weight and the kid looks shorter for some reason. Shop is still here, and I'm back to bug you guys!
I'll get pics up when I'm damn good and ready!
The new seat made 106 miles in one stretch before we needed to get some food. If my head wasn't pounding so damn hard, then I betcha I could have made it all the 150 miles home. The new seat rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well behaved women rarely make history.
I'm not mean, you're just a sissy.
