Triumph 100 Anniversary ride.

Has anyone, besides me, heard anything about a proposed ride across the US this year as a Triumph event? I have heard most of the ride will follow old Route 66.
If true it sounds like a great time.

There was a mention in the last RAT magazine, but no route details except that it is a ride from East coast to West coast. I'll definitely be there for part of it, either on my own 2000 RS or '72 TR6R.

One of our local dealers (Aspen Motorrad of Flagstaff) is about 2 miles from the old Route 66, but was unaware even that the trip was planned. He's finding out what he can from Triumph and will let me know. When he does that, I'll post it here.
